Parking

  • The parking structure (PS2) has more than 700 spaces on six floors. CSUSM spaces are concentrated on floors three through six. Campus Parking and Commuter Services manages the entire structure and permits will be treated the same as they are for PS1 and other campus parking lots.
  • With a valid CSUSM parking permit, you can park in spaces designated for “CSUSM” during open hours.
  • Retail visitors can park for up to 90 minutes in designated spaces on the first or second floors.
  • There will be no overnight parking allowed; PS2 will close every day between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
  • Sponsored guest spaces will be available on the second floor of PS2. The request process for permits will be the same as currently required for sponsored guest permits in other locations on campus. The sponsored guest spaces in PS2 will be added to the valid parking areas and the permits will only be valid in the designated sponsored guest spaces.

To request a sponsored guest parking permit (must be completed two business days in advance, cost $0):

  1. Log into my.csusm.edu using your campus user name and password
  2. Under Quick Links, select Parking Permit for Visitors
  3. Complete the electronic form and save
  4. Electronic notification will be sent alerting you that the request was sent. When approved by Parking Services electronic notification will be sent to inform you of the approval and the amount of the charge.
  5. Permits will be available for pick up at the Parking and Commuter Services Office located in the University Police Building (PSB 63)

To request an invited guest parking permit:

  • Contact Parking and Commuter Services via parking@csusm.edu to set up an account
  • Provide the account’s authorized user, including contact information and the chargeback number
  • Once the account is created, the department’s authorized user can send invited guest permits out as needed via email
  • Invited guests need to provide the license plate number for the vehicle they will be parking on campus
  • Invited guest permits are valid in any general parking space, NOT sponsored guest spaces

Rooms

  • View classroom listings
  • Booking most classrooms for academic use is facilitated through Elizabeth Rosales. Some academic spaces have additional gatekeepers in order to book, such as all second floor presentation rooms, SLP rooms and Health Science rooms. Additionally, all conference and meeting rooms will have assigned gatekeepers.
  • All of the academic spaces will be visible in 25 Live, however, the booking will not be completed because it will get to a gatekeeper who may deny the booking. This process is evolving and may change as we settle in and better understand space usage.

WiFi

The WiFi password for the ELB is the same as the campus password.

Bridge - Pedestrian Walkway

  • NO WHEELED modes of transportation is permitted on the bridge; this includes golf carts, scooters, skateboards, bikes, skates, etc.
