César Chávez Day of Service

CCDOS2020 Email Banner

César Chávez fought for workers’ rights and his impact extends beyond the Latino community. Together at home we can all make contributions big and small to our community. For 2021, CSUSM will host the César Chávez Virtual Days of Service to honor the legacy of César Chávez and the contributions of farm workers to our society both then and now. Starting Thursday, March 25, we will post via social media channels virtual volunteer opportunities you can do from home to support farmworkers and share facts about the role of farmworkers then and now. On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, César Chávez's birthday and a commemorative federal holiday, we will host A Virtual Conversation: Honoring the Legacy of César Chávez.
