Service Learning Holiday Spirit
Service Learning Department at California State University San Marcos and the Boys and Girls Club of Vista joined forces to spread Holiday Spirit in North County San Diego!! Carnations and Cards for Seniors is our annual holiday event where our students, staff, faculty, and community engage in service learning and make a lasting and meaningful impact.
Sprinkle some cheer in your community this holiday season!
Join Us for Card Making:
We are calling all CSUSM students, faculty, and staff to join us in creating cards for seniors in North County San Diego! Here are two ways you can participate in creating cards:
(1) Create cards on your own time and drop them off on campus at the Service Learning Office in the Extended Learning Building on the 2nd floor (ELB 284) by Thursday, December 12, 2024.
(2) Join the Boys and Girls Club of Vista (410 W. California Ave. Vista, CA 92083) on November 23 & 24, 2024 9:00AM - 11:00AM to create cards. RSVP by emailing Sierra Loredo at sierra@bgcvista.com
Join Us for Carnation & Card Delivery:
Calling all CSUSM students to volunteer to deliver carnation and cards on Monday, December 16, 2024 9:00AM-12:00PM. RSVP by emailing Sierra Loredo at sierra@bgcvista.com

- Once on site at the Boys & Girls Club of Vista, vans will transport volunteers to and from partner Seniors Center around North County San Diego to deliver carnation and cards.
