Telecommuting Agreement Information

In light of the evolving nature of COVID-19, and out of care and concern for our faculty, staff, students and community, California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) urges social distancing to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus, as recommended by the California Department of Public Health. As a practical method of achieving social distancing most CSUSM offices are currently closed and our employees will be working remotely. 

Please complete the form by Friday, March 20, 2020. 

Who Needs to Complete this form?

All CSUSM Corporation employees (full-time, part-time, including faculty and CSUSM staff working additional employment through CSUSM Corporation, as well as student employees,) should complete and sign an agreement if they are telecommuting.

What do I need to complete this form? 

Before completing the form, you should have verbal authorization from your CSUSM Corporation supervisor to work remotely on a temporary basis. Then, you will need to enter your name (First Last) in the ‘Document Name’ , your email, your supervisor’s email, the PIs/PDs or other manager’s email (if the same as your supervisor, enter the email again), then once completed, select “Submit”.

The form will then be emailed to you to complete the process. As you complete the process, be sure you read the agreement and ask your supervisor if you have any questions. Once submitted, it will be routed for signatures.
