Telecommuter Online Training (Tele Step 1)
NOTICE: Cougar Workstation Ergonomics online training is currently under revision and therefore unavailable. Please take this training instead (even for on-campus workstations).
The Telecommuting and On Campus Ergonomics online training provides useful information to help employees assess and modify their work environment at home. The training takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and should be done at the employee’s home office or on-campus location. Use the following instructions to begin:
- Log into LearnerWeb using campus username and password.
- Select the Course Search tab, then click Safety on the left side of the screen and select Occupational Health from the dropdown menu.
- Alternatively, typing “Telecommuting” in the search bar will locate the training immediately.
- Locate and select Telecommuting and On Campus Ergonomics, then click on the word “Launch” to begin the training.
- If difficulties are experienced launching the training, try turning off the pop-up blocker.
If discomfort persists after implementing the suggestions contained in the training, continue to Tele Step 2: Request a Virtual Consultation (or Campus Step 2: Ergonomic Evaluation for on-campus workstations).
