First Night Celebration

Welcome to First Night at CSUSM!
Kick off the school year with an unforgettable evening of fun, connection, and Cougar
pride! First Night is one of ASI's biggest traditions — a high-energy celebration
where new and returning students come together for the first major event of the year
that ASI hosts.
Whether you’re brand new to CSUSM or just ready to make new memories, First Night
Celebration (FNC) is the perfect way to start the year right.
First Night Celebration will take place on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 6 pm - 9 pm
Please have your current CSUSM student ID ready!
The First Night Celebration is designed for currently enrolled CSUSM students to help kick off the academic year, build community, and make new connections.
Guest attendance is still under review and has not been confirmed at this time. Updates regarding guest policies will be shared as they become available.
