ASI Administrative Specialist 

As a function of the Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) of Cal State San Marcos, the Front Desk Team is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all patrons and guests of the campus community, while serving as an ambassador of ASI, working to increase student life, campus climate, and promote wellness throughout campus. This position may coordinate, implement, and plan projects of varied and complex nature, and foster working partnerships with multiple entities on campus.

ASI Cougar Pantry Specialist

The Cougar Pantry serves students of CSUSM who face food insecurity on campus. The goal of the ASI Cougar Pantry is to ensure equitable access to nutritious food resources. This position will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and supporting educational and social programs and activities at Cal State San Marcos, as well as collaborating with and serving as the spokesperson for the Pantry to other campus entities to support issues related to food insecurity, sustainability, basic needs, and more.

ASI Cougar Pantry Specialist - Driver

The ASI Cougar Pantry Driver Specialist supports CSUSM students experiencing food insecurity by ensuring the safe, timely transportation and handling of food resources. This position is primarily responsible for driving the ASI Cougar Pantry van to pick up and deliver food from retail rescue sites and partner organizations, including the North County San Diego Food Bank and Feeding San Diego. In addition to driving duties, the role assists with receiving, loading, and unloading products; proper food placement, rotation, storage, and inventory management; and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized pantry space.

ASI Programming Specialist

As a function of the Associated Students, Inc. at Cal State San Marcos, the Campus Activities Board provides the campus with a wide variety of activities and programs geared toward increasing the quality of life and student engagement on campus. The division is comprised of several student members who work individually and collaboratively toward creating programs and events that appeal to all students enrolled at CSUSM. The Programming Specialist position will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and supporting educational and social programs and activities at Cal State San Marcos, as well as collaborating with other Campus Activities Board Specialists in creating a semester calendar worth of events, as well as continuing innovative campus-wide traditions.

ASI Media and Communications Specialist As a function of Associated Students, Inc. of California State San Marcos, the Media and Communications Team (MCT) is responsible for the design and development of promotional items and marketing for all events and services of ASI. The Media and Communications Team is responsible for developing and maintaining methods for documenting and sharing the ASI story across various media channels. The MCT is also responsible for all media, branding, and marketing efforts of Associated Students, Inc. of CSUSM. $16.90

Representation Opportunities 

These are representative positions within the ASI Board of Directors. Those in representative positions are compensated volunteers who receive a $500 semester scholarship, priority registration, and a parking permit.
