The Software Engineering Pathway Program is eligible for financial aid.

  • The 2+2 pathway with MSJC and CSUSM takes the guess work out of planning your education
  • It provides students interested in software engineering (or comparable fields) the opportunity to graduate in 4 years
  • The first two years will be at MSJC, where students can earn Associate degree in Computer Science (AS-T) or Liberal Arts Mathematics & Science (AA)
  • Upon successful completion of the first two years at MSJC, students are guaranteed admission to CSUSM Temecula Campus
  • The second two years will be at CSUSM Temecula Campus where they will finish their BS in Software Engineering

How does the 2+2 Software Engineering Pathway program work? 

  1. Start creating a plan and taking classes now in high school
  2. Enroll at MSJC to take general education and prerequisite courses for two years
  3. Transfer to CSUSM and finish the degree requirements in two years for the BS in Software Engineering
