Below is information on degrees and professional development programs for Veterans, Active-Duty, Reservists, Dependents and Spouses offered through Extended Learning at CSUSM.
Funding Descriptions
- GI Bill: Available to use for tuition and fees
- Tuition Assistance: Available to use for tuition and fees
- MyCAA: Available for tuition and fees up to $4,500 annually
- Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH): Student will receive 100% BAH (if considered full time for the program)
- Basic Allowance for Housing (%BAH): Student will receive a percentage of BAH based on number of units enrolled per semester, this does not enable the student to be full time for the entire program
Eligible Funding Sources By Program
Please note the Tuition Assistance (TA) enrollment policy: Eligible service members who choose to use Tuition Assistance (TA) must receive approval from their respective branch of service before enrolling in courses. It is strongly recommended that service members consult with their Educaitonal Service Officer (ESO) or a counselor within their military service prior to enrolling to ensure they fully understand their benefits, eligibility and academic planning.
