Applications to the Bachelor of Arts in Sociology program are reviewed on a rolling basis; apply at any time! However, priority is given to applications that are received by the following deadlines:
- Fall 2025: June 11, 2025
- Spring 2026: Aug. 6, 2025
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the online BA in Sociology program you must complete the requirements listed below.
- General Requirements
- 60 transferable semester college units (or 90 quarter units) to be eligible for admission, including the prerequisite courses below.
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA in all transferable units attempted
- 2.5 GPA for students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree
- Must reside in an approved state
- Prerequisites
- Successful completion of the following courses with a “C-” or better (12 units)
