EngiBeering™

CSUSM’s new EngiBeering™ certificate program explores the science and engineering behind brewing craft beer. You’ll learn what goes into making beer, the history of craft beer, how to evaluate beer by identifying flavors and beer quality (which will prepare you to be a judge at beer competitions) and so much more.

You’ll be learning from and networking with local brewery owners and experts associated with the beer industry, and will see behind-the-scenes of breweries of all sizes. As part of this program, you will complete an internship at a local brewery to gain real experience to help start or advance your career in this exciting and growing industry.
