    How to Apply

    Admission Requirements

    • Completion of thepre-business core courses prior to admission (see below)
      • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA in pre-business core with all courses completed with a C or better
    • Completion of CSU general education transfer requirements
    • Completion of 60 or more transferable semester (90 transferable quarter) units by the end of spring
    • At least two years of full-time work experience or equivalent
    • Current résumé
    • One professional reference assessing management and leadership potential
    • No GRE required to apply

    Pre-Business Core

    You are required to complete the pre-business core courses prior to admission. The minimum grade in every pre-business core course must be a C or better (courses may not be taken credit/no credit) and must be completed with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. The UC Berkeley GPA Calculator may be helpful in computing your pre-business core GPA.

    Official copies of transcripts submitted as part of your program application package will be used to verify satisfactory completion of the pre-business core admissions requirement. We reserve the right to accept or deny any non-CSUSM, non-articulated coursework (course syllabi may be required for review—please refer to the ASSIST website to verify articulated coursework).
