Important Deadlines

All transcripts, financial statements, and test scores must be received  by the CSUSM International Admissions Office by the deadlines listed below. Evaluations and admissions decisions are made on a continuing basis upon receipt of all application forms and records.

Application Timeline and Deadlines Spring 2025 (Classes start January 21) Fall 2025 (Classes start August 25)
Out-of-Country Applicants August 1 - November 1 October 1 - June 1
In-Country Applicants (already in the U.S.)  August 1 - November 15 October 1 - July 1

Initial Document Deadline

In-progress or final academic records are required for an admissions decision to be made.
Copies of all documents are acceptable at this time. However, please note that official transcripts and test scores must be received before I-20 will be sent out.

Final Document Deadline

Final academic records with all term grades and proof of graduation are required.
If you are graduating after the deadline date stated, please let the International Admission Office know.

Important Reminder

If you are planning to live on campus, you must first be admitted to CSUSM and apply for on-campus housing early.
