Steps to Begin On Campus Employment

  1. The best place to start looking for on campus jobs is using "HANDSHAKE" on the Career Center website. They also have Career Counselors you can schedule appointments with!
  2. Apply for Open Positions. Don't be discouraged if you are not called for an interview for every position you apply for.
  3. After you have been offered a position, bring the offer to the Office of Global Education
  4. The Office of Global Education will guide you how to apply for your first U.S. Social Security Number (SSN) after you receive your first offer of on campus employment.
