Introduction

Serhan C. Kotiloglu is an Assistant Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship in the College of Business Administration at California State University San Marcos. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Stevens Institute of Technology. Dr. Kotiloglu is specifically interested in analyzing how financial performance influences organizational decisions on risk taking, strategic change and firm growth. In a separate but related strand of research, he analyzes how financial performance influences organizational decisions on risk taking, strategic change and firm growth.

He recently started exploring the influence of financial performance on organizations’ efforts on LGBT inclusion. His research has been published at various peer-reviewed journals, including Strategic Organization, British Journal of Management, European Management Journal, Journal of Strategy and Management and Frontiers of Psychology. He also presented his research at various national and international conferences.
