California Climate Exchange

Project summary: The team was tasked to develop a model for the break-even points for solar microgrid projects that generate carbon credits. Break-even was determined by microgrid output, generation of carbon credits and consideration of registration fees. Deliverables included a carbon credit break-even calculator, sensitivity analysis of carbon credit value and recommendations on marketing strategy and approach.
