Cassandra Schaeg is the Founder of SIP Wine & Beer, a tasting room and event space
located in Escondido, California. After laying roots in the "hidden city" Cassandra
immersed herself in the community and its evolving agricultural presence. Being raised
in Temecula, one of California's top 5 wine regions, she envisioned Escondido as destination
and founded SIP Wine & Beer (SIP).
SIP is a destination to empower, inspire, and exchange knowledge. Cassandra's goal
is to make wine and beer fun and straightforward while supporting local, women, and
minority-owned brands. Cassandra elevates the stories of winemakers and brewers navigating
a space underrepresented by women and people of color.
Through community, culture, and conversation, SIP encourages wine and beer lovers to share their knowledge and experiences while partaking in thought-provoking discussions. Her web series WineVersations chronicles the journey of notables in wine, beer, entrepreneurship, and social justice.
Cassandra is passionate about assisting women and people of color in the wine, beer, and entrepreneurial ecosystem and champions initiatives to increase advocacy and resources. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and a Master of Public Administration focusing on Public Finance.
