Doyle W. Young is an executive, author, teacher, consultant and nationally recognized expert in building and running successful organizations. With over 37 years of management experience and having served as CEO for two successful start-ups, CEO of the nation’s largest human resources chapter, and president of a mature $200M publishing and broadcast media company with 1,200 employees, Doyle advises a large range of companies in how to plan and successfully execute their strategies.

Doyle’s specialized areas of expertise include strategic and operational planning, organizational design, team development, training and development, board governance, change management, continuous improvement, performance management, employee engagement and organizational and individual assessment.  He uses a deep knowledge of process and influence skills to work and focuses on practical solutions that engage the client in the outcome or solutions. 

His work has been recognized by Harvard Business School, the University of Michigan Business School, the Wall St. Journal and many other well respected educational and media organizations. He is a frequent speaker for numerous professional organizations including: The Entrepreneurship Institute, SHRM, Inc. Magazine, Wall Street Journal, The Human Resource Council, The U.S. Department of Labor and The American Management Association. He has also appeared on TV and is a frequent contributor to various business publications including Covey Executive Excellence and Personnel News. He writes a nationally syndicated column on workforce development topics read by 2.5 million subscribers in over 25 cities.

Doyle is the co-author of, “The Ever-Changing Organization: Creating the capacity for continuous change, learning and improvement” (St. Lucie Press, Sept. 1999) plus numerous other publications. He is working on his third book, “Crossing the Execution Chasm”. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from California State University, Northridge, California and an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He is a DBA candidate with research in the area of strategic change leadership. He is an adjunct professor at the Fermanian School of Business at Point Loma Nazarene University, University of Redlands and California State University, San Marcos.  He has taught internationally for Vietnam National University (Hanoi) and Ho Chi Minh University (Saigon). He is on the Board of Directors for Bethel Seminary and the Pacific Institute for Excellence in Education. He resides in San Diego with his wife of 33 years and enjoys serving others.
