Carolina has over 20 years of international experience in global leadership roles at progressive consumer goods companies. Her experience includes living and working in Spain. Her most recent corporate role was at Nixon Inc., headquartered in Carlsbad, California. She has led at Nike Europe and optimized the customer experience at Guess, Lucky Brand, and Gap headquarters.

Carolina is an enthusiastic leader who thrives on building high-performance, customer-obsessed teams to find innovative solutions and drive strategic initiatives that achieve results. She has proven success across multiple areas of the product lifecycle, including sales operations, e-commerce, customer service, retail operations, service operations, logistics, 3PL warehouse management, distribution, planning, production, and field sales. She is passionate about technology and automation, prompting continuous improvement initiatives while sourcing, designing, and implementing innovative technologies.

Carolina's role as an Executive in Residence and Instructor at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) allows me to mentor aspiring business leaders and bridge classroom learning with real-world experiences, preparing students for future success.

Carolina is a strong advocate for California's esteemed public university education system. She earned her MBA from CSUMB with a focus on responsible business (People, Profit, Planet, Equity, and Equality), a BA from UCLA in Political Science - International Relations and enriched her education through a study abroad program at UC Berkeley - Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico.
