Understanding Your Enrollment Date & Time
Students are granted access to course enrollment each semester during the enrollment period. Your Enrollment Date is the date and time when you are able to begin enrolling. You can find your enrollment date in the Student Center in MyCSUSM.
The assignment of enrollment dates is based on criteria established by the University, including, but not limited to, distance to graduation and special consideration status. In the chart below, ‘units remaining to graduate’ do not include in-progress courses (i.e. any in-progress units are counted as completed for purposes of determining your enrollment appointment).

Enrollment Limits
- April 26 – August 15
- Students may enroll in up to 16 units
- Graduating students and veterans may enroll in up to 19 units
- August 16 – September 13
- Students may enroll in up to 19 units
In addition:
- Students may waitlist up to 10 units
- Students on Academic Probation may enroll in up to 14 units
Please note that all holds must be cleared prior to your enrollment appointment in
order to be able to enroll in classes.
