Game Console MAC Address Locations

Please choose your console for directions on find the MAC address of your system. Return to Game Console Authentication Form.

XBOX 360

Playstation 3

Wii

PSP

Nintendo DS

XBOX 360

  1. Scroll Down (if necessary) to "My Xbox"
  2. Go all the way to the right and select "System Settings"
  3. On the new screen, select "Network Settings"
  4. Select "Configure Network"
  5. Under "Basic Settings" check to make sure "IP Settings" is on "Automatic"
  6. Go right to select the "Additional Settings" Tab
  7. Go down and select the second item "Advanced Settings"
  8. Towards the bottom of the screen you should see "Wired MAC Address." The MAC Address is the number below this. ***important*** The Wireless MAC address will be under the wireless settings.

Playstation 3

  1. Select Settings on the PS3 Home Menu.
  2. Navigate down and select [System Settings].
  3. Select [System Information]. Here you will find your MAC address. Be sure to note down the entire code, including colons.

Nintendo Wii

  1. When at the Wii Menu screen, click the Wii icon in the lower left corner.
  2. Select Wii Settings.
  3. Click the arrow on the right side of the screen to advance to the next page of settings.
  4. Select Internet.
  5. Select Console Information.
  6. The MAC Address for your console will be displayed. After you have written down the address, repeatedly select Back to return to the Wii Menu screen.

PSP

  1. Navigate to "System Settings";
  2. Then navigate to "System Information," which is where the MAC address is listed.

Nintendo DS

From a WFC compatible game:

  1. Insert the necessary game card.
  2. Turn on the Nintendo DS.
  3. Start the WFC compatible game.
  4. Go to Settings
  5. Select Nintendo WFC Setup.
  6. Select Options.
  7. Select System Information.
  8. Your MAC address and your Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID will be displayed.

From the Nintendo DS Browser:

  1. Insert the Nintendo DS Browser card.
  2. Turn on the Nintendo DS.
  3. Start the browser.
  4. Input your password.
  5. Click the Options icon at the bottom of the lower screen (the icon with a wrench on it).
  6. Scroll down to the Network section and select Connection.
  7. Select Options.
  8. Select System Information.
  9. Your MAC address and your Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID will be displayed.
