What is a Featured Event?
A featured event is an event that is featured on the home screen of the CSUSM Mobile app at the top (below the sign in area) that leads to sub-page(s) within the app. This area is reserved exclusively for promoting happenings on campus that effect a large audience.
Examples of content that might be found in this area:
- Weeks of Welcome/Move In
- Welcome Back week
- Homecoming week
- ASI Election events
- Finals Week
- Commencement
Examples of content that would not qualify
- an event for a small and select audience (e.g. a department meeting or club meeting)
- a private event (e.g. a wedding)
