About the Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI)
ATI History
CSUSM, along with the California State University system (CSU), is committed to creating a culture of access for an inclusive learning and working environment that ensures all campus information resources and technologies are accessible for all CSU students, faculty, staff, and the general public regardless of disability. This commitment has been codified at the system wide level resulting in the Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI). The Accessible Technology Initiative provides the resources, tools, training and expertise for the California State University (CSU) system to ensure that instructional materials and the technology that are used will be accessible to all.
In order to ensure this commitment, the CSUSM ATI Team works together with the campus community to accomplish goals in the following three areas:
- Web Accessibility
- Instructional Materials Accessibility
- Procurement of Accessible Electronic and Information Technology (E&IT)
