For Week 3 of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the focus is to further your understanding of phishing. Recognizing and reporting phishing is critical for safeguarding personal and organizational information. Awareness and prompt reporting are key to maintaining a secure digital environment. Email spam or phishing messages should be forwarded to abuse@csusm.edu.  The "abuse" team will take steps to protect the campus from responding to those messages.   If you responded to a phishing message with your username and password, please fill out the information security incident response form so that we can evaluate the severity of the situation.
