Technology Order Request

Requests for new technology represents a fiscal comittment on behalf of CSUSM funds.  This is true of the intial purchase, ongoing support, and future refresh of equipment.  The campus' Information Management Steering Committee (IMSC) has established the following procedure effective October 25, 2018.

All requests for the following technology items must be approved within their own division prior to any action being taken by IITS to purchase or deploy equipment:  refresh computers, research computers, lab and classroom computers, one-time computer purchases, conference rooms and carts, digital signage, as well as iPads and cellular phone equipment and service.  The only exceptions will  be for computers ordered for a staff or faculty member's primary work station and indivdual displays or accessories.

To request new technology, submit the Technology Order Request below and furnish the information requested.  Once the order is submitted, IITS will route requests for eSignature to the person with fiscal authority as well as via the Department Chair/Manager, Dean/AVP, and Provost/VP if required.  All requests approved at the VP level will be released to IITS staff for processing.
