The USU Computer Lab will open for Spring Semester on Monday, February 15th . Operation hours and access to the Lab are subject to change based on guidance from state, county and CSUSM health authorities. Only current CSUSM Students, Staff & Faculty will be allowed to enter. Digital ID required for entry.
CSUSM continues to collaborate with units across campus to provide students with all the resources they need to succeed this semester, and the new USU computer lab is another example of this committment. This University Student Union—IITS partnership offers a much-needed resource that increases equity of access to technology.
Location: The USU computer lab is located at the USU ballrooms.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. For real-time workspace availabilty, use the "On-Campus" button in the Campus App.
What is Available: The USU Lab offers students access to campus computers, high speed internet, or even a desk with power to work at in between on-campus classes. The Lab offers 30 computers and another 20 tables with power for those bringing their own laptop.
Printing: While most coursework will be submitted electronically, the USU Lab will offer free use of the Paw Print system should you need it.
Cleaning Measures: To protect our students, the computer stations will be cleaned and sanitized after each use and the ballroom has been configured to ensure proper social distancing.

Facilities: Second-floor restrooms and the first-floor gender-inclusive restroom will be open. Water bottle filling stations are available, but water fountains have been shut off.
No other USU services or spaces will be available at this time.
